Fritz Pitches No-Hitter

Baseball’s Fritz Pitches No-Hitter on the Road

Fritz, coming off of shoulder surgery this past season, looks at this season as one to enjoy – “You know, I wasn’t sure I would be pitching again after surgery, so everyday is just a blessing. I’m glad I’m out there and able to do what I love.” Fritz is the first Gophers pitcher in 3 years to have a no-hitter, and the first in 15 years to do it on the road. Sean Roch powered in a 2-run homer in the 6th inning, while Garret Lurwitz and Brian Lowe added an RBI each. The Gophers are currently 24-8 and will play on Friday at home against the Catalina University Pirates (11-20).
